Chilled Tofu Salad that is very popular in Hawaii | |
Ingredients:

firm tofu, cut into bite sized squares |

can |
pink salmon or chunk white tuna, drained |

medium |
onion, sliced ( sweet onion optional ) |

tomatoes, cut into cubes |

medium |
green onion stalks, thinly chopped |

pieces |
chinese cabbage, thinly sliced (won bok ) |

---Sauce- |

soy sauce, light |

salad oil |

tablespoon |
mirin |

tablespoon |
sesame oil |

toasted sesame seeds ( for garnish ) |

Preparation:
You will need a nice size, glass bowl that has a flat bottom. Start the salad with the Tofu on the bottom, flaked salmon or tuna next, onion, tomatoes, green onions, then cabbage.
Mix the dressing well and pour over salad at the last minute right before serving. |
