Preparation:
1. heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. 2. saute the garlic, basil, onion, celery and scallions until soft. 3. add the green curry base and stock. 4. bring to a boil. 5. simmer for about two minutes and remove from heat. cool for 10 minutes. 6. in a large bowl, mix together saute mixture, apple, corn bread stuffing mix, garlic chili pepper sauce and brown sugar. 7. let cornbread stuffing sit for a while, 10-15 minutes, so that the stuffing absorbs all excess moisture. 8. mix well again and add salt to taste. 9. stuff pork chop, chicken or meat of your choice.
note: substitute vegetable stock for chicken stock and it will become a vegetarian stuffing. |
