Vidalia Onion Pie with cheddar

Ingredients:

3 cups vidalia onions -- sliced
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 crust baked pie shell -- deep disk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3 large eggs -- beaten
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded
3 slices bacon -- (cooked)
 

Preparation:

Cook onions in butter until brown. Spoon into pie shell. Blend milk and 1/4 cup of the sour cream. Blend salt flour and rest of sour cream. Combine both, add eggs and cheese, and pour over onions. Bake 30 mins at 325. Garnish w/ crisp crumbled bacon.
