Preparation:
Melt butter and chocolate in double broiler over boiling water. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place 2 cups sugar and 3 eggs in bowl. Attach bowl and flat beater. Turn to speed 4 and beat a minute and a half. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to speed 4 and gradually add chocolate mixture, beating until well blended. Remove from bowl and set aside.
Place remaining sugar, egg, vanilla, and cream cheees in clean bowl. Attach bowl and flat beater. Turn to speed 2 and beat 30 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to speed 6 and beat for 1 minutes.
Drop chocolate and cream cheese batter by tablespoonfuls into a greased and floured 9x13x2-inch pan. Swirl lightly with with a knife. Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes. when cool, cut into squares. |
