Preparation:
Cover Black Eyed Peas with Water and Bring to a boil. Add the Bacon, Onion, Garlic and 1 Teaspoon Salt. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for about 2 hours or until the Peas are tender. Add the Rice, cover and cook for about 20 minutes. While the Rice is cooking Saut‚ the Lean Ground Beef adding a little Salt, Fresh Ground Black Pepper and MSG to Taste. Add the Ground Beef to the Peas and Rice mixture. Stir to combine and serve hot. |
