Large Pizzas

Serves: 12-inch Pizza
 

Ingredients:

3 1/4 cups cake flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup olive oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup water
---PIZZA SAUCE AND TOPPINGS---
1 medium tomato
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon cilantro
 

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together then turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead. On a pizza pan, that has been sprayed with a nonstick spray, spread the dough to the edges of the pan. Forming the ends into a lip. Set aside. Pizza Sauce and Toppings: In a food processor, blend tomato, tomato puree and garlic. Brush mixture over pizza crust. Sprinkle the remaining toppings evenly over the pizza. Cut the pizza into slices with a pizza cutter. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
