Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and store in container with tight-fitting lid. Makes 3 cups mix, sufficient for 12 individual servings of prepared pudding.
TO PREPARE: For each 1/2 cup of Chocolate Pudding Mix, use 1 1/2 cups milk. Combine mix, milk, and 4 tsp margarine in small saucepan, and heat over very low flame, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil gently, stirring, for 1 minute. Pour into 2 individual serving dishes. Refrigerate.
VARIATIONS: Add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp mint extract after removing from heat. OR, add 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder or crystals before cooking. Also, 1/2 cup of chopped nuts can be added before pouring into serving dishes. |
