Makes 1 1/2 quarts sherbet
1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves.
2. Boil 3 minutes; cool.
3. Add lemon peel, lemon juice, sliced berries and wine; freeze. For each drink, drop a scoop of frozen sherbet into tall glass, add a splash of soda, and serve at once, with long spoon and straw. |
