Preparation:
Combine sugar, water, lemon, and cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes; stirring constantly. Combine next 5 ingredients in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil, cover, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in sugar syrup and heat thoroughly. Remove lemon slices and cinnamon sticks. Garnish each serving with a pineapple wedge. |
