Preparation:
Combine gelatin and boiling water in electric blender container. Cover and blend at low speed until the gelatin is dissolved, about 1 minute. Add ice cream and crushed ice. Blend at high speed until the ice is melted, about 30 seconds. Pour mixture into a 3 or 4 cup mold and chill at least 30 minutes; unmold. Or, pour into individual dessert dishes and chill until soft set, 5 minutes; or pour into a serving bowl and chill 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups or 4 servings.
