Preparation:
In a small skillet, cook the ham with the onion and nutmeg in the oil until the onion softens, about 1 minute. Prepare the burgers according to their recipe, adding the sauteed ham and onion to the meat mixture. Put 2 to 3 slices of cheese on each burger 1 minute before it is done cooking. Cook until the cheese melts. Spread interior of buns with mustard, if desired. |
