Super Powered Lentil And Brown Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

14        ounces        lentils -- uncooked
4                       carrots -- chopped
3                       celery stalks -- chopped
2                       onions -- chopped
3         quarts        distilled water
4                       garlic cloves -- chopped
1         cup           brown rice -- uncooked
1         tablespoon    bragg liquid aminos
1/4       teaspoon      italian herbs -- oregano basil etc
2         tablespoons   olive oil
 

Preparation:

Wash and drain lentils and rice. Place grains in large stainless steel pot. Add water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add vegetables and seasonings and cook on low heat until done. At the last minute you may add fresh or canned tomatoes. For a delicious garnish add parsley, nutritional yeast large flakes and spray with bragg aminos. Add more water to make this recipe a delicious soup.
