Sausage Skillet Supper

Ingredients:

  1              pound  bulk sausage
  1                can  whole tomatoes -- (16 oz.) undrained
                        and chopped
  1              large  green pepper -- cut into 2 x 1/2
  1               inch  strips
  1              large  onion -- chopped
  1           teaspoon  salt
     1/8      teaspoon  pepper
     1/2      teaspoon  chile powder
  3               cups  cooked macaroni
  1 1/2           cups  sour cream
 

Preparation:

Cook sausage in a large skillet until browned, stirring to crumble; drain off pan drippings, and remove from heat. Stir in tomatoes, green pepper, onion, and seasonings; cover and cook over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the macaroni and sour cream; cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is thoroughly heated. Do not boil.
