Ingredients:

6 ounces pared potatoes -- diced

2 packets instant beef broth and seasoning mix
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 garlic clove -- minced
1 bay leaf
1 dash to 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Preparation:
In 2-quart saucepan combine lentils and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover pan, and let simmer until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes. Add remaining igredients to lentils and stir to combine; cover and cook over low heat until potatoes are tender, 20 to 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving. |
