Preparation:
Combine granburger and water. Allow to rehydrate about 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce and sugar. Mix. Combine noodles and melted margarine. In a buttered 2 to 2 1/2 quart casserole dish place 1/2 the noodles. Top with half the gran burger mixture. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and onions. Mix well. Spread all this mixture on the gran burger mixture. Spread with remaining noodles next and top with remaining gran burger mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes covered and then 20 minutes additional uncovered. Serves 8
NOTE: if desired, add 1/3 cup stripple zips to the granburger mixture for a flavor variation. |
