Preparation:
Combine imported German Butterkase, imported ham, diced mushrooms, German spicey brown mustard and 4 egg yolks together in a bowl. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Cut two 8" rolls in half lengthwise. Scoop out enough of the bread to form cavities about 1 1/2" deep. (Save bread for making croutons or bread crumbs.) Distribute cheese mixture evenly in the 4 bread "boats." Broil 6" from heat 3-5 minutes or until bubbly
Variation: Use baked potatoes in place of rolls. Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 3-5 minutes |
