Mulled Tea Bag

Ingredients:

  2 1/2      teaspoons  loose tea leaves
  2                     whole         cloves
  3              whole  allspice berries
  2          teaspoons  coarsely crushed cinnamon stick
     1/2      teaspoon  grated orange rind
     1/4      teaspoon  grated lemon rind
  1             5 inch  squar fine-mesh cheesecloth
                        cotton string
 

Preparation:

Place tea leaves, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, and orange and lemon rinds on cheesecloth square. Bring corners together and tie into a bag with string. To brew, place bag in a mug and add 6 oz. boiling water; steep 4 to 5 minutes. Makes 1. teabag.
