Preparation:
1. Drain tamales. 2. Place a layer of tamales in a 11/2 quart casserole. 3. Add half of the chili. Cover with half of the onion. 4. Add half of the cheese. Repeat, but do not add remaining cheese. 5. Cover with plastic wrap. 6. Microwave at medium high (70%) until onion is tender, 6 to 7 minutes. 7. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. 8. Microwave at medium high (70%) until cheese is melted, 11/2 to 2 minutes. Makes 4 servings. |
