  1               head  lettuce - chopped
  1                     onion - diced
  1                     bell pepper diced
  1                can  drained sweet peas
  1 1/2            cup  mayo or salad dressing
  1                bag  grated cheddar cheese -- (16 oz)
  1                jar  bacon bits
 

Preparation:

Layer the above as you read recipe starting with the lettuce. NOTE: when you spread the mayo you may need to add a little more - should have enough to cover the peas.
