Preparation:
In a small bowl, mix stock into cornstarch and whisk until the cornstarch is smoothly blended with the stock. Microwave (covered) at high temperature for 40 seconds, or cook in a small saucepan over low heat until it boils slightly and clears (about 5 minutes). Cool to room temperature. Whisk oil, mustard, and herbs of choice into the cornstarch mixture until it is blended. Brush over poultry, fish, or meat. |
