Ingredients:

   4      pounds        spareribs -- cut into serving
     1/2  cup           catsup
     1/2  cup           white sugar
   2      tablespoons   soy sauce
   1      tablespoon    worcestershire sauce
   1      tablespoon    white vinegar
   1      tablespoon    flour
     1/2  teaspoon      powdered ginger
   1      teaspoon      salt
   1      clove         garlic -- pressed
 

Preparation:

Place spareribs in a 2 quart oblong baking dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at medium (50%) 14 minutes. Turn meat over. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at medium (50%) 14 minutes. Drain off fat. Combine remaining ingredients in a 2 cup measure. Pour over spareribs. Microwave at medium (50%) 14 minutes. Turn ribs over. Coat with sauce. Microwave at medium (50%) until fork tender, or until meat is pulling from bones and no pink is showing, 14 to 16 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
