Preparation:
Combine beef, crumbs, salt and pepper. Shape into one inch balls (or smaller for appetizers). Place in a single layer in a 12 x8 inch rectangular dish, or a 10 inch square casserole. Microwave at high (100%) 12 to 15 minutes, rearranging after half the cooking time. Drain. In a large bowl combine tomato sauce, sauerkraut, brown sugar, raisins and onions. Spoon over meatballs. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at high (100%) 7 minutes. Rearrange meatballs (center to sides). Cover. Microwave at medium high (70%) 7 to 10 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice. Makes about 8 servings. |
