Preparation:
Place artichokes, bottom side down, in burner proof 1 1/2-quart casserole. In bowl, mix together remaining ingredients; add to casserole; bring to boil on top of stove. Cover tightly; cook in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4-1 1/2 hours depending on size of artichokes. Cool in liquid. For first course, serve cold in halves; as appetizer, serve quartered. Delightful! |
