2 smoked ham hocks -- (or 3 )
1 bay leaf

Preparation:
Place beans and ham hocks in crock pot with bay leaf. Cover with water. Cook overnight or 6 to 8 hours on high. No need to season because ham hocks give dish flavor. Serve with cornbread!
