Ham Fettucini

Ingredients:

   1      Pkg           fresh fettucini -- (8 oz)
     1/2  Lb            ham sliced thin (Original recipe use
                        Canadian bacon instead)
   2      Tbsp          butter
   1      Clove         garlic -- minced
   2                    egg yolks -- beaten
   3                    green onions -- chopped
     1/4  Lb            fresh mushrooms -- sliced
     1/2                green pepper -- sliced thin
   8      Oz            whipping cream
     1/8  Tsp           lemon pepper spice
                        fresh grated Parmesan cheese
                        salt -- to taste
 

Preparation:

Cook fettucini, Fry bacon in butter. Remove from heat and keep warm. Fry garlic for 30 seconds, add remaining vegetables and saute until tender crisp. Remove from heat and keep warm. Add cream to pan and blend in egg yolks. Cook over low heat stirring until sauce starts to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in seasoning. Toss vegetables, cream and fettucini together with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
