Honey-Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

  2        tablespoons  olive oil
  2                     pork tenderloins -- (about 3/4 pound
                        -- each)
  4        tablespoons  honey
     1/2      teaspoon  ground cloves
 

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle tenderloins with salt and pepper. Add pork tenderloins to skillet and brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Transfer pork to baking sheet. Drizzle each tenderloin with 2 tablespoons honey and sprinkle each with 1/4 teaspoon cloves. Roast tenderloins until meat thermometer inserted into center registers 150 degrees, about 15 minutes. Cut tenderloins into 1-inch thick slices and serve. Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes Makes: 4 servings I like this dish not only for it's simplicity, but also because it's good enough to serve to company. Serve it with roasted asparagus and buttered nood
