Mom Smith's Ham Loaf

Ingredients:

     1/2         pound  smoked or cooked ham -- finely ground
  1 1/2         pounds  lean hamburger
  1                cup  bread crumbs
  1                cup  milk
  2                     eggs
     1/2           cup  brown sugar
     1/2           cup  vinegar
     1/2           cup  water
  1           teaspoon  dry mustard
 

Preparation:

Mix the first 5 ingredients together and place in a loaf pan as you would a meat loaf. Bake, uncovered, in a 350F oven for 45 minutes. Combine the remaining ingredients and baste the meat while continuing to bake for an additional 15 minutes.
