Preparation:
Melt butter in water in saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in herbed stuffing. Add egg and sausage. Mix thoroughly. Chill for easier handling. Shape into oblong balls about the size of pecans. Cut bacon strips into thirds. Wrap one piece of bacon around each sausage ball and secure with tooth pick.
Place balls on broiler pan and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown and crispy. Turn about halfway through cooking time. Drain on paper towels.
