Preparation:
Combine Chocolate Dessert Mix, sugar, water, and milk in saucepan. Cook ove medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil and begins to thicken. Remove from heat; stir in cream cheese and mix until melted and smooth. Cover surface with plastic wrap and cool to room temperature. Spoon one half of the pudding mixture into 6 parfait glasses. Sprinkle with wafer crumbs; top with cherry pie filling. Spoon remaining pudding over cherry pie filling. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with a dollop of whipped topping and additional wafer crumbs or cherries, if desired. Makes 6 servings. |
