Blueberry Cream Dessert

Ingredients:

  Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
--------  ------------  --------------------------------
                        Crust:
  28                    grahm crackers -- crushed
     1/3           Cup  butter -- melted
     1/4           Cup  sugar
                        Mix and spread 3/4 of mixture in buttered
                        rectangle pan (only need to butter
                        the bottom).
                        Pat down firmly.  Save rest of mixture to
                        sprinkle over top of dessert at the
                        end.
                        Filling:
  8                Oz.  soft cream cheese
     1/2          Tsp.  vanilla
  1                Cup  sugar
                        Beat together until creamy.
                        Whipping cream:
  1               Pint  whipping cream
                        Whip for about 5 min.  Add slowly to the
                        cream cheese mixture.
 

Preparation:

Spread 1/2 of mixture on crust. Spread 1 can of blueberry pie filling on top, and then the other 1/2 of mixture on top of filling. Sprinkle rest of grahm cracker crumbs on top. Let sit for 2 hours in fridge. Hint: Sometimes I substitute the blueberry pie filling with raspberry--usually on Christmas or Valentines day. It's delicious too!
