Fudge Brownie Sundaes

  1                Cup  all-purpose flour
     3/4                granulated sugr
     1/2           Cup  unsweetened cocoa powder -- divided
  2          Teaspoons  baking powder
     1/2      Teaspoon  salt
     1/2           Cup  skim milk
     1/4           Cup  MOTT'S Natural Apple Sauce
  1           Teaspoon  vanilla extract
  1 1/2           Cups  hot water
     3/4           Cup  firmly packed light brown sugar
     1/2        Gallon  frozen nonfat vanilla yogurt
 

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk, apple sauce and vanilla: stir until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan. In medium bowl, combine hot water, brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour over batter. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 12 bars. Top each bar with 1/2-cup scoop frozen yogurt: spoon sauce from bottom of pan over yogurt. Make 12 servings
