Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch square baking pan with
nonstick cooking spray. In large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar,
1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk, apple sauce and
vanilla: stir until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan. In
medium bowl, combine hot water, brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup
cocoa. Pour over batter. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes or until center
is almost set. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 12 bars. Top
each bar with 1/2-cup scoop frozen yogurt: spoon sauce from bottom of
pan over yogurt.
