Preparation:
Place in a 9 inch (23 cm) pie plate (ceramic or Pyrex) the maple syrup,
butter and allspice. Microwave 3 minutes on HIGH.
Peel and core apples, cut each in four. Roll in the hot syrup.
Microwave 3 minutes on HIGH.
Turn the apple quarters. Microwave 4-5 minutes on HIGH.
Serve hot or cold, but do not refrigerate.
Note: We add slivered almonds to the maple syrup, butter and allspice. |
