Preparation:
The night before serving, combine all ingredients except garlic; pour in
a pourable container and shake well. Set aside so flavors incorporate.
The next day, place garlic in pryex or ceramic baking dish; roast at 350
degrees until golden brown, about 15 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times to
ensure even browning. Remove from oven and pour seasoned olive oil over
garlic. Dip in you favorite hearty bread, scooping up oil.
NOTE: A whole loaf of French or Italian bread works well for this.
Allow guest to break bread apart, rather than slice it for them. |
