Blueberry Wine Sauce

Ingredients:

     1/2           cup  granulated sugar
  1         tablespoon  cornstarch
  1                cup  dry white wine
  1           teaspoon  lemon juice
  1 1/2           cups  blueberries -- (fresh or frozen)
 

Preparation:

In small saucepan, stir together sugar and cornstarch; stir in wine and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture thickens, clears and comes to slow boil. Stir in blueberries and simmer, stirring, for 1 minute or until at least half of the berries burst. Let cool and refrigerate.
