Ingredients:

  1               pkg.  pillsbury crescent rolls -- (8 ct)
  1              block  Philly cream cheese softened
  1           envelope  Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
                        shredded cheddar cheese
                        chopped brocoli
                        chopped red pepper
                        grated carrot
                        -- (you can use other
                        veggies to taste if you want)
 

Preparation:

Spread the crescent rolls out flat in a jelly roll pan, prick slightly so they won't rise too much, and bake according to package directions. Take out of oven and let cool. Mix cream cheese and ranch dressing mix, spread over roll layer evenly. Sprinkle cheese and veggies over top, pressing down into the cheese mixture. Refrigerate, and then cut into bite size pieces (my mom cuts them up into triangles, looks very elegant
