2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup butter
4 1/4 cups cubed cooked potatoes
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup whipping cream
Preparation:
Saute onion and almonds in butter until almonds are golden brown. Add potatoes, salt, and pepper, mixing well. Stir in cream. Cook over low heat until potatoes are brown, turning as necessary.
