Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Melt the semisweet chips over hot (not boiling) water. Remove from heat.
Combine the butter, sugar and egg in one bowl and beat until creamy.
Blend in melted chocolated, and corn syrup.
Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and stir in gradually.
Shape dough into ball.
Take a tablespoon of dough and roll into ball and roll ball in sugar (about 1/4 of a cup).
Place balls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bakte at 350 for 15 minutes.
Let stand awhile before removing from pan.
Makes 3 dozen 3 inch cookies. |
