Mint Cocoa Cup

Ingredients:

     3/4  cup           sugar
   6      tablespoons   cocoa
   1      cup           hot water
   1      quart         milk
     1/8  teaspoon      mint extract or
   3      sprays        fresh mint
                        whipped cream or nondairy whipped topping
 

Preparation:

1. Combine sugar and cocoa in medium saucepan; add water. 2. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture begins to boil; boil, stirring, 2 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Add milk; beat with rotary beater. 4. Cool; add mint extract. 5. Pour over crushed ice; top each serving with a spoonful of whipped cream. 6. Garnish each with a spray of mint, if desired.
