Kathy Hirdler's Fire Camp Chili

Ingredients:

 100       pound        Pinto beans
   4       cup          Jalapeno chiles with juice
   1                    Bacon, ground beef, etc
   1                    Salt to taste
  48       large        Onions, chopped
  40       pound        Meat ham, sausage, pork,
   4       cup          Chili powder
 

Preparation:

Soak Beans overnight, then raise to a bOil on high heat. Add all ingredients and simmer until tender (about 6 hours). Add Water as necessary. Stir occasionally. Makes 60 gallons. Winner, 1987 World Championship
