Ingredients:

  1              pound  ground beef
  1             medium  onion -- chopped
     1/2      teaspoon  garlic powder
  1         tablespoon  chili powder
  2 1/2      teaspoons  ground cumin
  28            ounces  crushed tomatoes with added puree
  15            ounces  kidney beans -- canned
  6             ounces  tomato paste
 

Preparation:

1. In a large 4 qt dutch oven or large saucepan, cook beef and Stir in all remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium low and simmmer, uncovered for 10-15 minutes.
