Preparation:
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon together in a large
sealable
plastic bag. Add apple slices. Shake to coat all slices. Set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl. Beat with electric
mixer
for 5 minutes. Pour approximately 3 cups of batter in a lightly greased
Bundt pan. Layer apple slices and cover with remaining batter.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 65 minutes, until a long wooden
skewer inserted into the thickest part of the cake comes out clean. Cool on
a rack about 45 minutes, then invert cake onto serving plate. Cool
