Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 1/2 cups Orzo pasta (rice shaped) uncooked
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups Cool Whip -- thawed
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple drained
1 (10 oz.) jar cherries -- drained & quartered
Preparation:
Cook Orzo according to package, then drain and rinse with cold water. In large bowl combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
(For best results, serve within 4 hours.)
