Lemon Pepper Pasta with Ham and Vegetables

Ingredients:

                        l2 oz. pkg. lemon pepper linguine or
                        -- penne rigate
     1/4           cup  extra virgin olive oil
     1/2           cup  bell pepper -- julienned
     3/4           cup  asparagus -- cut into 2" pieces
     1/2           cup  mushrooms -- sliced
  8             ounces  ham -- julienned
  1         tablespoon  fresh ganic -- chopped
     3/4      teaspoon  dill weed
  1 1/4           cups  reserved pasta broth
  3        tablespoons  sweet cream butter
     1/4           cup  parmesan cheese -- grated
                        salt & pepper to taste
 

Preparation:

Cook pasta according to package directions. When pasta is al dente, reserve 1 1/4 cup of cooking broth before straining, set aside. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large saute pan. Saute' pepper, asparagus, mushrooms, ham and garlic for 8 minutes. Aod dill weed and pasta broth; simmer for 2 minutes. Mix in hot pasta and butter. Sprlnkie pasta with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Serve immediatel
