Double Layer Fudge

Ingredients:

  12            ounces  semisweet chocolate chips
  11 1/2        ounces  milk chocolate chips
  14            ounces  sweetened condensed milk
  2        tablespoons  cream
  2          teaspoons  vanilla
  1                cup  nuts
 

Preparation:

In saucepan over low heat melt semi-sweet chocolate, 2/3 cup condensed milk, 1 tablespoon milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. When melted and smooth, remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of nuts. Spread in 9 x 9 foil lined pan. Chill. In saucepan melt milk chocolate chips, remaining condensed milk, 1 tablespoon milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Remove from heat and add remaining nuts. Spread over chilled fudge in pan. Chill 2 hours until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board. Peal off foil and cut into squares. Store at room temperature or in refrigerator.
