Preparation:
1. Beat egg yolks with sugar until lemon-colored; add flour and cream alternately to egg mixture.
2. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into batter.
3. Grease a griddle well and heat it; ladle on batter as for pancakes.
4. Cook on one side until golden; turn over gently and cook other side.
5. Meanwhile, keep remaining batter in bowl over larger bowl of cold water.
6. When pancakes are done, prepare filling; place 1 tablespoon filling on each nalesniki; fold both sides to center.
7. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Filling 1. Beat egg yolks in top of double boiler over heat.
2. Add remaining ingredients and continue to beat until thick. Cool. |
