Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt butter in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Add water. Sprinkle with sugar. Topwith nuts and coconut. Set aside. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter evenly over nuts and coconut. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched with figners. Let stand for 5 minutes, then turn out upside down onto a large platter or cookie sheet. Serve cake topped with whipped cream if desired. |
