Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350~F. cream butter in large bowl of electric mixer.
Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well
after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed
mixture alternately with grapefruit juice, beginning and ending with flour
mixture. Gradually add milk; stir in grapefruit peel and vanilla; mix well.
Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt cake pan. Bake 45 to 50
minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove
from pan and cool completely on wire rack. |
