Ingredients:

   2                    Eggs -- well beaten
   1      Cup           Sugar
   1      Cup           Flour
     1/4  Teaspoon      Salt
   1      Teaspoon      Baking Powder
     1/2  Cup           Hot Milk
   1      Tablespoon    Butter
   1      Teaspoon      Vanilla
                        Frosting:
   5      Tablespoons   Butter
   9      Tablespoons   Brown Sugar
   4      Tablespoons   Cream
     1/2  Cup           Coconut

Preparation:

Beat eggs, add sugar and keep beating. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add slowly to egg mixture and keep beating. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in hot milk and add all at once to above mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla. Pour into greased cake pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350. Frosting: Mix ingredients together and spread on cooked cake, brown under broiler.
