Ingredients:

   1      pound         ground beef
                        salt and pepper
   1      medium        onion -- sliced and
                        -- separated
                        -- into rings
   2      medium        potatoes -- thinly sliced
   1      can           sloppy joe sauce
 

Preparation:

Crumble ground beef in 10-inch skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer onion and potatoes on beef. Pour sloppy joe sauce over top. Cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes or until beef is brown and potatoes are tender.
