Preparation:
Pound beef. Cut into 1/4" x 2" strips. Combine soy sauce, orange juice, ginger and garlic. Pour over meat; stir, leave to marinate. Prepare vegetables. Heat oil in wok or frying pan. Add onion, broccoli, and stir well. Add water, cover and cook for two minutes. Add mushrooms and green peppers. Cook uncovered for one minute. Move vegetables to side of wok. Drain beef, reserving marinade. Stir-fry beef until the colour changes. Mix with vegetables. Add orange segments. Do not stir. Combine reserved marinade with cornstarch; add to wok. Gently stir until sauce thickens. |
